Studiously neutral to the point that its employee regulations prevent membership in a political party, Ayelixe/Krongbing sells uniforms to most organized military forces in the galaxy, often supplying both sides in a conflict. Rendili StarDrive is a starship-manufacturing company based on the planet Rendili. It is one of the ancient
Founding Shipwrights. StarDrive was associated with companies such as Rendili Vehicle Corporation, Rendili/Vaufthau Shipyards LTD., and Rendili-Surron. Rendili Star Systems was apparently a subsidiary of Rendili StarDrive. Although dating back to the founding of the Galactic Republic, Rendili was one of the original sponsors of the Corporate Sector Authority. The corporation maintained an extensive system of smaller yards spread throughout the Mid Rim and Outer Rim regions. It was placed in the limelight when it was chosen to build the Dreadnaught-class heavy cruiser for the Republic prior to the Clone Wars and when the Republic was developing the Victory-class Star Destroyer during the conflict, Kuat Drive Yards gave Rendili StarDrive a contract for the design, much to the delight of the latter. In the era of the Galactic Empire, Rendili was less favored by the government and the Navy, but their older ships remained in widespread use, and they remained one of the few facilities that could construct spaceframes significantly larger than Imperial-class Star Destroyers. This included special weapons platforms and large battleships. |

nearly bankrupted Aratech. The company's second attempt at networked droids was the BRT Supercomputer. Another failure, Aratech abandoned droid
manufacturing and focused on repulsorlift technology. As Aratech Repulsor Company, it pledged its support to the Republic during the Clone Wars. Their most noted product was the 74-Z speeder bike, which remained in service throughout the Clone Wars and the reign of Palpatine's Galactic Empire. |

nationalization was often because of Rebel sympathies, but just as often the company in question had a design or product the
Empire wished to make its own. The quality of Imperial Munitions' products ranged widely, as its factories were as often
staffed with slave labor as with loyal subjects, and its management was in equal parts ruthlessly brilliant and hopelessly
inept. With the fall of the Empire, Imperial Munitions ceased to be a coherent operation, though some straggling factories

on Thyferra, and, along with Xucphra, was granted a contract by the Empire to produce bacta.
This contract gave Zaltin and Xuchphra a monopoly that came to be known as the Bacta Cartel. Unlike Xucphra, Zaltin was more sympathetic to both the native Vratix and the Rebel Alliance, and entered the cartel out of necessity. Feeling the Empire was doomed and recognizing the Vratix would eventually seek independence through the Ashern terrorist organization, Zaltin sent Bror Jace (whose family was a primary stockholder in Zaltin) to fly in Rogue Squadron and began providing covert assistance to them in the form of money and security. During the Bacta War, Zaltin was outlawed by Ysanne Isard, their members either imprisoned or fleeing into the jungles to join the Ashern. They provided aid to Wedge Antilles and his group as they attempted to liberate Thyferra, accepting members of his team into their ranks and sending Jace to join them again.
